Since 1993, we've been taking independent travellers on unforgettable adventures around Scotland, and we want to make booking yours as easy as possible. With our flexible payment options and no change fee, you can secure your spot and travel with peace of mind.
Our Booking Deposit Explained
Here's how it works:
- For 1-day tours, you'll need to pay in full at the time of booking
- For multi-day tours, we ask for a non-refundable deposit to secure your spot. If your trip is less than 45 days away, the full amount will need to be paid when you book.
- Once your booking is confirmed, your deposit goes toward your total tour price. The remaining balance is due 45 days before departure (or by the date on your booking confirmation). We’ll send reminder emails to help, but it’s still your responsibility to pay on time.
Please note that some special tours, like the Up Helly Aa Tour, require full payment upfront. Find more details in our Terms and Conditions.
No Change Fee
If you need to change your plans, simply contact us at least 30 days before your trip, and we’ll move your tour date free of charge.
What Happens If You Need to Cancel
If you need to cancel your tour, you will need to inform us in writing. Our cancellation and refunds policy varies based on the type of tour and can be found in section 3.4 in our Terms and Conditions.
Make Your Deposit Flexible
If you need to cancel your tour, you can get the value of your deposit as credit for a future trip – this is called Flexi Deposit and is available for select multi-day trips. To see if you're eligible for a Flexi Deposit, visit section 3.4 in our Terms and Conditions.
