"If you want to get the full Scottish experience, meet incredible people from around the world and have the best guides you should totally book with these guys. I did the 10 day tour and had a blast and ended up feeling Scottish."
Check in to your hostel and meet your Guide and trip mates. In the evening, it’s time to get the Hogmanay festivities started and try some local beers in Edinburgh’s famous pubs.
We kick off the day with Aussie and Kiwi New Year and enjoy the buzzing city before the best party of them all, the Edinburgh’s Hogmanay Street Party.
Check out of your hostel in the morning and hug your new friend’s goodbye. Before you leave, be sure to breathe in the last of that fine Scottish air before you head off on your travels
Torchlight Procession - Torch
Only available at the time of booking Join 50,000 spectators and participants at the official opening of Edinburgh's Hogmanay celebrations. Being at the heart of the procession and carrying your own flaming torch gives a unique perspective and should not be missed. The number of torches is limited and they always sell out so add to your booking to avoid disappointment.
Loony Dook - Swimming
Only available at the time of booking. What better way to bring in the New Year than jumping into the freezing waters of the Firth of Forth. The Loony Dook is always a sell-out but you can guarantee your space by adding the swim ticket and transfer to your booking. PLEASE NOTE: If you have purchased a 'Swim' you should ensure you also have a Transfer to South Queensferry.
In 2011 HAGGiS Adventures teamed up with 'Trees for Life', a Scottish charity specifically dedicated to restoring 1,000 square miles of self-sustaining, wild, Caledonian Forest with the aim of helping Scotland 'Stay Wild'. We have pioneered an Eco Scheme where you can make an optional £2 donation when booking any tour. We will match every pound you donate, with proceeds going to the Trees for Life.
