Loch Ness, Glencoe & the Highlands

The ultimate weekend trip to the Scottish Highlands!  Spend two action packed days exploring the heart of Scotland with its flowing rivers, ruined castles and cathedrals, mysterious Loch Ness and famous movie sets. Sample a wee dram of Scotland's national drink at a Highland whisky distillery, to get the real taste of Scotland.

Travel back in time to mysterious Clava Cairns and dramatic Culloden Battlefield which have inspired the hit series Outlander. We'll spend the night on the banks of Loch Ness where you have a chance to go monster hunting on a 1 hour cruise before partying the night away at Morag's Lodge hostel.

In the morning we head south to mysterious and haunting Glencoe also known as the 'Weeping Glen'. Stunningly beautiful, it has been the backdrop for movies including Harry Potter, Braveheart and more recently Skyfall. We cross the wilds of Rannoch Moor towards the Lowlands, past Doune Castle (as seen in Outlander and Game of Thrones) and historic Stirling before arriving back in Edinburgh.
