We head for the Highlands to take in some famous sights, as well as getting off the beaten track to discover some wonderful hidden gems. See the ancient fortress of Doune Castle (made famous by Monty Python) and one of the best preserved medieval castles in Scotland.
Experience Highland life in the village of Killin and view the impressive Falls of Dochart, fed by the mountains. Journey alongside beautiful Loch Tay, under the towering peaks of Ben Lawers, the highest mountain in The Southern Highlands and soak up the solitude of Glen Lyon.
What better way to end the day, than with a wee dram? Whisky tasting at Scotland’s oldest distillery (Glenturret and The Famous Grouse Experience). Finally, it’s over the magnificent Forth Road Bridge and back to Edinburgh.
