Itinerary >

Day 1:

Departing London, we head for the crystal clear and perhaps the pristine snow of Wales.  Crossing the Severn River, we will stop at Chepstow, the gateway of Wales.  From Chepstow to tintern, the inspiration of Wordsworth.
Heading North, we'll stop for lunch and some last minute shopping in Hereford.  Continuing, we will go for a walk across the pontycilit aqueduct, before reaching our romantic destination for Christmas, a remote welsh farmhouse.

Day 2:

After checking Sion Corn hasn't already been, a cooked breakfast.  Then our guide will take you into the Snowdonia national park for a walk, and hopefully a snowball fight.  Then it's back to the farm house for Christmas day lunch, turkey and all the trimmings, before the fun commences in the evening.

Day 3:

Packing up the bus with presents, we head East, to the romantic ruins of castle Y Bere.  From there, we plot a course through the mountains and valleys of Wales stopping for lunch in a traditional pub.  Then a lovely drive through the Elan Valley, to our night destination, Abergavenny, to continue the festivities.

Day 4:

The first act of the day will be to descend 300 feet underground down a mine at the Big Pit.  From there, we head to Cardiff, the capital of Wales and our final stop in the country.  Perhaps a bit more shopping or throw a ball in the shadow of the Millennium Stadium, rugby's spiritual home.  Then it's back to London.
